Stewart Rosen

Latin Grammy® winner Stewart Rosen, bassist, can be heard on numerous recordings and concert halls around the United States and abroad. Some of his earliest memories are of listening to his dad play in jazz combos in their living room. Inspired by these experiences, he began to learn the bass and has not looked back since. As a freelance bassist, he has performed with orchestras at the collegiate, community, regional, and major levels. Some of the groups he has performed with are San Francisco Symphony, Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra, Bakersfield Symphony, Desert Symphony, Symphony Silicon Valley, ACE Trio and many more. He also enjoys playing with a variety of chamber music groups, musical theater pits, world music groups, and in solo recitals.

Stewart is the Principal Bassist for Los Angeles Chamber Music Company, and since 2017 Stewart has been performing with TintoTango

Rosen holds degrees from San Francisco Conservatory of Music, University of California, Los Angeles, and Cal State University Northridge. His biggest musical inspirations are his mentors, Chris Hanulik, Oscar Meza, and Scott Pingel.
